Trophy Rape

from $24.98

Rape is very cold tolerant which along with nutritional quality, is one of its greatest attributes as a deer forage.

This allows it to provide quality forage during winter months when many other species are less productive or dormant. Overall palatability increases significantly after a couple frosts, which is typically the case for Brassicas. It is fairly drought tolerant, and in well managed plots, rape contains greater than 30 percent crude protein and you can expect to produce 2 to 4 tons of quality forage per acre.

Broadcast at a rate of 8 Lbs. per acre.
